Why we set it up separately

Cleaning and coating is specialist work. It needs the right training, the right access equipment and a proper understanding of what each surface will and won't take. Running it as its own business means the people doing it do it every day, rather than fitting it around other trades.

Being part of Acorn Home matters too. A lot of exterior problems turn out to be something else — a leaking gutter, a slipped tile, rotten fascia, failed pointing. A cleaning company shrugs at that. We can put it right.

ProPERLA approved applicator

We're trained and approved by the manufacturer to apply the ProPERLA range. That approval is what allows an official manufacturer's guarantee to be issued at all — guarantees come from ProPERLA UK Ltd, signed and stamped, not from us alone. They're valid where the products have been applied to a suitable, properly prepared surface in line with the manufacturer's data sheet.

How we work

Every job starts with a free survey. Someone comes out, looks at the actual surface, measures up, checks access and talks through the options. Then you get an itemised written quotation covering cleaning, preparation, any repairs and the coating system.

We don't do instant online prices. You can't price a roof off a postcode, and anyone who tells you otherwise is going to revise it when they turn up.

The bit most people don't say

Not every surface should be coated. Painted timber, unstable render, roofs that need repairing, damp that's actually coming from a leak — coating those is a waste of your money and it fails eventually. If we find that at the survey we'll tell you, and we'd rather lose the job than take it.
