Suitability assessment
Not every roof is a candidate. We check tile type, porosity, condition and age before recommending either system.
Complete clean
The full clean described on our roof cleaning page. Nothing goes on a roof that hasn't been properly cleaned and dried.
Repairs and preparation
Tile replacement, pointing, and masking of adjoining surfaces, gutters and anything we don't want overspray on.
Primer where specified
RENOTEC Primer or BPA where the manufacturer's data sheet calls for it.
Application
Controlled spray application of the specified system, in the right weather, at the right coverage rate.
Guarantee paperwork
Your manufacturer's guarantee follows once the job is signed off.

The RENOTEC system
Applied by controlled spray, tile by tile.
The roof is cleaned completely, repaired where it needs it, primed where the specification calls for it, then coated. Colour goes right into the tile surface rather than sitting on top as a film.
Colours are shown as a guide only — screens vary. We bring samples to the survey so you can see them against your own roof in daylight.

What's the difference between the clear and the coloured one?
The clear water repellent is invisible once dry — your roof looks exactly as it did, just clean. RENOTEC is a coloured system that changes the roof's appearance entirely. Protection is comparable; it's an aesthetic decision.
How long does the guarantee last?
It depends on the product and the surface. Guarantees are issued by ProPERLA UK Ltd, signed and stamped, and are only valid where an approved applicator has applied the system to a properly prepared, suitable surface. Your written quotation states exactly what applies to your roof.
Does it stop leaks?
No, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something. A coating is not a repair. If there's a leak, we fix the cause first — and being an Acorn Home business means there's a team who can.
